Hello everyone, my name is Dawson and I am a published photographer based out of SE Michigan with a strong focus in automotive and portrait photography. The start of my photography journey was just like everyone elses, by picking up a camera. I picked up my very first camera (Canon T5i) in 2019 with no real plan - just curiosity and attempting to bring how I see the world to life.

What started as experimenting with angles, light, and editing quickly turned into an obsession with getting better every single time I picked up that camera. I wasn’t focused on numbers. I was focused on growth, learning composition, understanding motion, studying light, and refining my editing style until it felt like mine. At first, it was late nights, free shoots, reinvesting everything back into gear, and pushing content consistently. Every post was intentional. Every session was a chance to level up. I treated it like a profession long before it paid like one.

Over time, the work started speaking for itself.

My styles evolved — bolder contrasts, sharper details, controlled color, cleaner edits. I really started to lock down the automotive aspects of photography as a whole, not just a simple car meet. Fast forward to today — I am quickly approaching 40,000 followers and what started as a creative outlet has turned into a full-time career. Photography isn’t just something I do for fun on the weekends anymore — it’s what I build, refine, and live every day.

Going full-time wasn’t about chasing social media. It was about freedom. Freedom to create. Freedom to raise my standards. Freedom to deliver work that feels premium, consistent, and intentional.

I’m big on quality over quantity. Every image I deliver meets a performance-level standard that i meticulously crafted. Every client gets the same focus and attention whether it’s a personal session or large-scale coverage.

This journey started with just a camera and a mindset.
Now it’s a brand, a community, and a career built from the ground up.
